Hello! My name is Einstein (at least that’s what my new foster parents call me).  I met my new foster parents on January 27th and things have been pretty busy ever since!  My first day with my new foster mom was a very wet one…..she gave me the longest bath that I have ever had and then she even cut all of my hair off.  You can see from the pictures how that went.  I feel much better now that all of that matted hair is gone…it was making my skin very itchy…and I think I smell a lot better now too!   I am learning a lot of things with my new foster parents.  The first thing that I learned really quick was that my new mom doesn’t like it too much when I pee on the corners or her doors and walls….she puts me outside every time.....and I really don’t like the cold…especially without any hair!  I can be very charming and love to be around people and I am getting better at peeing outside every day.  Sometimes I get scared and shake a whole lot when there isn’t anyone around.  In my new neighborhood, it is pretty cool because even when I get scared the neighbors are nice enough to take care of me and make sure that I am safe!  I am going to the doctor on February 5th for my first doctor’s appointment, I will be spayed and have a microchip implanted so that even when I get lost someone can help to get me home.  The main thing that I hope the doctor can help with is my itchy ears….they bother me quite a bit and I scratch at them a lot.  Depending on what the doctor says, I should be ready for adoption in a couple of months.  I should be really good at going to the bathroom outside by then!  I get along really well with other dogs and children and prefer to be around people as much as possible.  I also know how to use a doggy door, but watch out because I can wriggle out very small spaces in fences!
